BOOKING POLICIES & PROCEDURES
StandPoint Communications is a Missouri-based firm specializing in booking speakers for various types of events. Our responsibilities are research, contract negotiations, administrative support, legal issues, and follow up for our clients.
Our reasearch, consulting, and administrative responsibilities are to our corporate clients. Our commissions are provided by the speaker and only if we secure booking with a signed agreement from the client. It is our responsibility to provide the appropriate presenter(s) for our clients within the budget they have set for us.
PRESENTER FEES
The fees that are published in this website are generally for keynote addresses unless otherwise stated. The time frame for a typical keynote address is 30 - 90 minutes, depending on the speaker policies and client needs. In some cases, we may publish fees for half-day, full-day, and multi-day programs.
As a booking agency, we administer all booking agreements. A 50% holding deposit is required at the time of booking. All other service fees that remain will either be paid to StandPoint Communications or the presenter. Our presenters have policies that differ from one another resulting in customization for each project.
ADDITIONAL FEES
The additional fees that the booking organization will incurr are travel expenses, lodging expenses, meals, and presentation products are not considered as a part of the speaking fee and remain the responsibility of the booking organization.
INTERNATIONAL FEES
The fees for international appearances vary from presenter to presenter. International fees are generally higher than domestic fees due to surcharges, tax rates, and travel time. SPC will quote fees following the consultation and will be agreed upon contractually prior to the international event.
